Nice sci-fi action comedy, good story. Teens should like it even more. Acting ok, music sounds. 4 out of 5 from me

Excellent film! Not often do I enjoy locally (UK) produced films, but this definitely change amy mind on that side of things. The acting was excellent, the SFX was superb, and there was some local humour thrown in.. It would be probably hard to understand the lingo if you aren't used to london local street talk', but none the less, it's worth a good watch... I rate: Action: 8/10, Grip: 7/10, Effects: 7/10, Acting 8/10 and Humor: 7/10

this was awesome! the characters felt real and were not the nicey nice heart throb looking crap most hollywood movies shuv down our throats, the story and acting was great and the pace of the movie was full on from start to finish, my only complaint is that the aliens looked like people in gorilla suits, if they had of pushed the budget more into the aliens the movie would have much more impact, i never really felt scared for the characters in their tricky situations coz the aliens were not believable, all in all a good movie and it shows you dont need a huge budget to make a cool film, better than skyline, Battle LA, and super 8 :)but district 9 still triumphs as the best latest alien movie

Ok so i watched it and of course it is based on stereotypical youth street culture but once you get over that you actualy start to enjoy the movie. Moses was a great charactor well done i don't know what the actors real name is but well done and well done to al the other boys also. Makes me wish i was 14 again having fun with my friends. overall score 7/10

Saw this movies at Best Buy today, seen Shaun of Dead director did it and loved them. Seen that it has great reviews, and I now see why. It was tastefully done, funny and some good gore scenes. The characters did an awesome job. I give this a 4/5 watch it!
